Intimate atmosphere of a historic private library with world-class exhibitions in Midtown Manhattan. Originally financier J.P. Morgan's personal library, this cultural institution houses an extraordinary collection of manuscripts, rare books, and artifacts spanning 4,000 years. Visitors can explore Morgan's opulent library rooms, view original works by literary masters, and discover rotating exhibitions featuring everything from ancient texts to contemporary art.
Special Admission
Every Friday evening 5-8 pm. Reservations are required. Tickets are available one week in advance.
Admission to the historic rooms of J. Pierpont Morgan's Library is free on Tuesdays and Sundays 3-5 pm. No reservations are required for these hours
Free admission to the Morgan Library & Museum on the first Sunday of each month.
