About Guggenheim Museum
Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the Guggenheim is renowned both for its distinctive spiral architecture and its focus on modern and contemporary art from the late 19th century to today. It holds the world's largest collection of Wassily Kandinsky paintings and significant works in Cubism, Surrealism, and Expressionism. Notable pieces include Kandinsky's Black Lines, Picasso's Woman Ironing (Blue Period), and Malevich's Morning in the Village after Snowstorm. The museum also hosts the prestigious Hugo Boss Prize for contemporary artists.
